We understand that all persons are individuals and we aim will aim at all times to regard each of our residents as such. In doing so we will:
- Respect their rights and beliefs.
- Ensure their dignity and privacy at all times.
- Listen to and respect their opinions and desires.
- Encourage independence at whatever level and act in their best interests in maintaining this.
- Actively promote their participation in planning their care.
- Give choice in all matters which will affect their daily living.
- When unable to make decisions themselves, respect and act upon their past wishes.
- Promote unconditional positive regard for all residents.
