General information

Here at The Hillscourt we pride ourselves on our “home from home” atmosphere. Our décor is finished to a very high standard and is modern yet homely.

Each room is individually decorated and provides the resident with a very comfortable environment which is entirely their own, some are en-suite.

All bedrooms, toilets / bathrooms and public areas are equipped with the most modern monitored call bell system.

We have 3 lounge areas on the ground floor, including our conservatory / dining room. On the first floor we have a dedicated quiet room. Outside we have a covered level patio which is ideal for use all year round, the rest of the garden is level and paved with seasonal borders and provides quiet areas of seating for residents, families and visitors.

Each room is furnished with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers bedside table, light and an easy chair. If a resident wishes to bring in any items of furniture we are happy to discuss this.

We actively encourage our residents to bring in pictures, photographs and ornaments. Our maintenance staff will hang any pictures on request.

We will provide all bedding, towels and flannels. Residents are free to bring in their own bedding. Soaps, bubble bath and shampoo are provided other toiletries will need to be purchased independently.

Our chef provides high quality meals using where possible, locally sourced fresh produce. Our menus are varied, balanced and are reviewed regularly. Main meals can be served in the dining room, lounge or residents own room at set times. Alternatives to the set menu are provided.

On admission our Chef will talk to each resident to ascertain their likes dislikes and any special dietary requirements. All special diets are catered for by our Chef.
