Our reputation as one of the best nursing homes in Devon has spread to the North of England and as far away as Canada!

Our matron has over 20 years service as a nurse and along with her team of dedicated nurses and care assistants ensures that our quality and standards of nursing care are something that others strive to achieve, and this principle of care runs through all of our homes.

Each resident has an individual computerised care plan, and these are written by our Registered Managers in consultation with residents and their families. The care plans are used by all care staff to ensure that residents are cared for in the way they would like.

Also included in our care plans are hobbies, interests, likes, dislikes as well as information about family, friends and treasured memories thus ensuring we offer a truly holistic approach to meeting a persons care needs.

We encourage every resident to remain as independent as possible.

During the day to day work practices, staff will carry out visual evaluations and report any changes to the senior staff thus ensuring that any change in a residents condition is acted upon quickly with the care plans being constantly updated to provide the most up to date information.
