GT Care Services Ltd was founded in July 2004 by Graham Thornton (GT)

Graham had held a number of positions within the nursing home and cemented his commitment to providing high quality nursing care in Exeter when he was offered the chance to purchase the lease of the Hillscourt from the existing owners.

The Hillscourt quickly established itself as one of the premier nursing homes within Exeter and the surrounding area, providing… Care without Compromise.


The reputation of GT Care Services Ltd and The Hillscourt continues to grow and we are the first home to be recommended when looking for premier nursing care in Exeter.

The commitment we show in providing highest standards of nursing care has resulted in glowing praise from both relatives and professionals, with an exemplary inspection report from CSCI (Commission for Social Care Inspectorate) following the latest unannounced inspection in January 2006.

Our staff team contributes fully to the aims and objectives of the Hillscourt which helps to maintain the ethos of the home. Indeed, the staff team believe that it is essential to maintain a happy home environment for the residents, this makes the satff team feel they are making a difference to their overall quality of life. This, in turn, also contributes to a sense of job satisfaction that is essential to retaining valued members of staff.

The Hillscourt not only cares for the resident who is receiving nursing care but also the families and friends who look to us to provide support , we offer an “open door” service and through regular feedback initiatives we ensure we continue to offer Care Without Compromise.

St Saviours Residential Home in Morton Road Exmouth is just a stones throw away from the Sea front.

The 14 bedded home is being readied for a vigorous plan of upgrade and improvement that will not only rejuvenate the homes environment but also provide more rooms to increase its capacity.
